X-Bowl Arena January 2014

Last winter here was truly epic in the mountains with waist deep powder every weekend whilst this winter hasn’t really started! I was chatting to my buddy Zajcmaster at work last week and he was saying he needed to break in his 2014 KTM 250 EXC, but in 7 years in Salzburg we have never ridden between December – March. The weather is so warm though and the sun was forecast for the weekend, so after a phone call to Moe the owner of X-Bowl arena it was on! It is not actually open at this time of the year but Moe was up for riding too, so he opened it up for us for the day. Thanks Moe!! The track was in absolutely mint condition, the sun came out after a while, there was a great group of of guys and we had some pretty sweet bikes to ride. It doesn’t really get much better than that.
