A few months back I designed a T-Shirt for my old friend @pjr273 and his company @minus_273 which we used to own together back in the day. It’s always such a treat and so inspiring to visit the factories in Asia where the bikes we design at @hdc_m are produced. Everything is still done so manually, and you can see clearly how every simple decision you make about the design has such enormous effects on the amount of labour and time required for the design to be efficient for mass production. When there are well over 100,000+ bikes being made, small design decisions you make in photoshop or Illustrator can seem trivial at the time but have such ripple effects all down the supply chain.
