KTM 450 Rally – Early morning KISKA Snapshots

What you see here is the final Clay model of the all new 2014 KTM 450 Rally bike ridden by Marc Coma to victory a few weeks ago at this years Dakar rally.

The bike was designed and sculpted at KISKA together with KTM and the factory riders (who were doing constant ergonomic checks), before it was scanned and refined in CAD for prototyping and testing.

From the series of early morning KISKA snapshots which started on the DERESTRICTED facebook page.

Any video of the scanning and CAD process? I’m currently working on this technologies in my school (with polyworks, a romer arm, Leica laser device and Catia for the CAD part) and it should be interesting for me to get some informations from you to put in my report if you agree with that. Thanks by advance. Julien.
