Red Bull KTM factory racing’s Matthias Walkner was at X-Bowl arena yesterday doing some testing and absolutely destroying the place on his Factory KTM Racing 450 EXC Sardinian rally bike. He was kind enough to let me take some photos so here you go. This thing is pretty special! It has a huge fuel tank for driving long distances as well as an extra one on the back. It has the rally navigation setup on the front for a scrolling map with the buttons on the bars and the bike is setup to ride fast and hard terrain.

His 450 EXC features the 2016 Color, trim and GFX which I designed/art directed and is the last EXC model I worked on before leaving kiska and will I have now heard, unfortunately be the last one I get to work on. I am really interested to see how they turn out for model year 2017, but since it’s the last, I am pretty happy with the way it came out.
