There have been some pretty mixed reactions to the new WP Air fork, as with the air forks from other brands. I loved it on the bikes at the KTM launch as I guess they had been setup really well. It also came as stock on my 2016 KTM 350 SX-F but was way too stiff to start with. After playing around with it a bit I found a setting I was comfortable with but I am not totally sure if it’s better than the 4CS fork other than being lighter. As with all forks in order to get the best out of it you basically need to just set it up properly for you and for where you ride. This is usually easier said than done though!
Motocross Action was invited out to Pala raceway last week to check out the all new WP airfork called the AER 48. They are currently available in the United States for both Husqvarna and KTM.
