The majority of top bikes are now so good and so capable of being used on such a wide range of terrain that it is simply impossible to categorise them in the same way as the past. eBikes blur many of these lines even further. #bikes #design
A lot happened last year, many big changes in my personal as well as private life. I will always have love for enduro, motocross and riding on the street, but with 2 young kids and running a business I just don’t have the time available to do it like i used to. It’s much easier and more fun to pedal out of my garage, or set off directly from work with some friends on an eMTB and ride for several hours on sick trails than it is to load up and drive an hour to a track on my own now I live in Munich. If you follow DE then I guess you have seen this transition, but I wanted to just make a small post about it, because DE was never meant to be more than a portfolio for my design work and somehow turned into much more and grew far larger than I ever imagined. I will still ride moto when the opportunity presents itself, but the focus of DE has always reflected what I have been most into and right now both personally and professionally, that is design and eMTB. At least there are still a few of the stickers I designed out there ripping around. Thanks for the photo XNDL. #ktm #enduro #emtb
