Autumn ride, KTM 690 Dukes, iPhone 5 photos.

The sun started coming out after lunch today and my wife had some things she wanted to do, so I grabbed the chance to get out for a quick ride. There is snow on the peaks and it was a little chilly but the light was perfect. I set out on my own but as I was cruising through town on the way to the start of the mountain pass I heard the roar of an engine behind me and knew right away it was my regular riding buddy Manuel. Not many people have a 690 Duke R with the DB eater out making such a distinct sound. Perfect! It was a massive coincidence to find him but it couldn’t have been a better surprise! Neither of us had a proper camera with us, and I wasn’t really planning on taking any photos, but Manuel has a fancy new iPhone 5 and the light was brilliant so we stopped at a few spots and took some photos. Not many more chances to ride this year, if at all, so it was nice to get some pictures as a memento for the next 5 months of snow.

These are using the new panorama feature on the iPhone 5. Can click the one above to make it bigger.

You can see my house in this one.

The one above is with my iPhone 4, the one below with Manuel’s iPhone 5. Does look a little better.

Hi, beautiful pictures here and a great blog I like to visiting from France.
Did you made any modifications on your rear brake or something ? Mine is too much high so I can’t let my right foot on while I do some wheelings…

Hi, thanks, no I didn’t modify my brake it but its easy to reposition it. Check your manual or ask your local dealer.

Thanks for the quick reply ! I already reposition mine for sure but it still too high so i can’t let my foot on. But it seems that you can, weird !

sorry man, I do most of the bike GFX for KTM as well as the powerparts sticker kits so it’s kind of a conflict of interest of I sell or give away any designs. Apologies.

Okay that’s the reason why they look like they are made by ktm…espacially that’s why i like them so much! You did a great job…unfortunately so many people already have the structure graphics from the PP on their dukes that i don’t want it anymore…thank you anyway!
