Pretty sweet Endurocross vid with a rolling Drum N Bass tune. Works well!
Red Bull KTM Factory Team rider Taddy Blazusiak of Poland picked up more valuable championship points with a podium third in the third round of the 2014 at Sacramento, California on Saturday night.
Riders resumed the competition after competing in the recent X-Games in Austin, Texas, which for the men’s pro division also counted for points to the championship.
Factory FMF/KTM rider Taylor Robert, who recently had a strong first ride in the notorious Erzbergrodeo’s Red Bull Hare Scramble in Austria picked up a solid fourth place at the Sleep Train Arena. The night’s competition yielded six KTM riders in the top ten positions in the main event.
Blazusiak started well by turning the third fastest time in the hot lap sessions while Robert finished sixth. This placed them both in the third heat race of the evening program when Blazusiak pulled the holeshot with Robert directly behind them. The two KTM riders stayed close throughout the race and finished 1-2 after Blazusiak hung onto the lead throughout the race.
Both riders got away reasonably well in the main event that saw Robert in third at the start. But Blazusiak got tangled with another rider and crashed in the first corner. He scrambled back into the action near the back of the field and at the halfway point had caught Robert and began to battle for a podium position. Then Robert crashed when another rider clipped his rear wheel, allowing Blazusiak to further close the gap but he still couldn’t make the pass.
This finally came when Robert encountered trouble in the rocks. Blazusiak slipped by and the two riders carried their 3-4 positions to the end of the race. KTM rider Cory Graffunder finished in fifth place.
