It was a tough morning for the lower competing classes in the prologue as it was pissing with rain in the morning making the track incredibly slippery. Chaos rained supreme, which made for some great spectating. By the time the pro’s hit the track it had dried out a lot, and in the finals the sun even came out. Everybody is looking forward to heading into the mountains tomorrow for the start of the real racing. 5 o’clock wakeup for me so I’m going to keep this short. Here are a few photos from today. Jonny walker won, Gomez 2nd and jarvis 3rd. Full results from the prologue finals here.
Lars Enokl was riding what looked suspiciously like a prototype 2017 KTM 300 EXC during the prologue. I have heard some rumours about the bike, but until I know anything for sure I’m not going to say anything on here. The rumours are certainly interesting but I don’t imagine any info will be released until this time next year.
