MXoN Award Youngest Rider Winner Ken Roczen

Well, America won the MXDN again, even though it looked like Germany were going to take it for a while, before Nagl crashed out. Cairoli won qualifying but said he suffered from Ashma in the main race and even though he put on some decent charges he made some mistakes too and lost out to Dungey who rode a flawless race.

Man of the day though, was without a doubt the 16 year old Ken Roczen who on his 250f overtoook everybody, be it on 250 or 450 to take over the lead, before eventually dropping back as Townley kept putting pressure on him with his 450. Roczen is moving to KTM in 2011 and we cant wait to see what he will do.

I think this was one of the higlights of the des Nations for sure. I really wanted to see Dungey vs. Cairoli and Canard vs. Roczen battles but there barely was something like that. Myself as an Estonian hoped ours success but things didnt go well. Maybe better luck next year.

You sound pretty bummed about America winning, lol. We’ve sent the B-squad 2 years in a row now to help you guys out.. Home-soil advantage helps though, just ask Villipoto a couple years back after his absolute destruction of the field at Budds Creek, on a 250.. Roczen was seriously impressive though at any age, let alone 16.. Hoping for a healthy Stewart/Villipoto/Dungey in 2011!! haha

naa, they deserved it really although in general america are also well lucky with other people crashing or being injured.
