From 2014, the riders will race in the ADAC Junior Cup on the new KTM 390 RC Cup, produced in Mattighofen. Here you will find all the data.

I took a load of photos of the bike in the Kiska studio too, which you can see here.

KTM CEO Stefan Pierer: ”We developed a pure GP racing machine for the Moto3 World Championship. In contrast, the RC 390 Cup is based on a series model project. Both of these two projects were given the highest priority because the development of lower displacement, high quality street bikes are among our core activities. The new KTM RC 390, which will be available for sale in 2014 will meet a big demand for affordable, quality sport bikes for the lower displacement class.”

Sounds like double whammy for competition, RC390 together with P375 can pre-empt any competition. Bajaj-KTM is doing unimaginable things within the premium section. If this can be offered at about 2.5 lakh OTR, then it’ll definitely have an effect on Ninja 300.. btw, have u people thought about milage of the bike ? It has to be atleast 40km per 1 ltr

Since this would be sharing it's engine with the Duke 390, which bangs out 43bhp, I can't understand why the RC390 CUP manages only around 40!!

Looks just so drop dead gorgeous, but it would be a shame if the Production of the RC390 ends up producing less than what Duke 390 produces (both for Peak Power and Peak Torque). Heck I'm even expecting the RC390 to be shorter geared than the Duke 390 to it's RC persona!! :)

Let's see what the Milan Auto Show gives us

Can KTM please bring the RC390 over? I would buy one over a ninja 300 or CBR250 in a heartbeat, but it simply isn't available. The demand exists, I assure you.
